Table Rock Lake
Table Rock Lake is a man-made reservoir in the Ozarks of southwestern Missouri and northwestern Arkansas. The lake is impounded by Table Rock Dam, constructed from 1954 to 1958 on the White River.
The lake derives its name from a rock formation resembling a table at the small community of Table Rock, Missouri, on Highway 165 about a mile and a half downstream from where the dam was built.
Beaver Lake
Beaver Lake is a man-made reservoir in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas and is formed by a dam across the White River. Beaver Lake has some 487 miles of shoreline.
With towering limestone bluffs, natural caves, and a wide variety of trees and flowering shrubs, it is a popular tourist destination.
Bull Shoals Lake
Bull Shoals Lake is a man-made reservoir in the Ozark Mountains of northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. It has hundreds of miles of lake arms and coves, and dozens of common activities include boating, water sports, swimming, and fishing.
Nineteen developed parks around the shoreline provide campgrounds, boat launches, swim areas, and marinas.
Lake Taneycomo
Lake Taneycomo is a man-made lake on the White River in the Ozark Mountains of Taney County, Missouri. The reservoir is named for the county in which it is located, Taney County, MO.
Lake Taneycomo originated when the White River was confined by the completion of the Powersite Dam, near Forsyth, Missouri, in 1913
